The HT seminar helped me a lot during the last few days of my preparation. It helped me improve and get those additional few crucial marks. I was weak at Visual reasoning and Syllogisms. But the way the seminar tackled these two areas helped me score better. Very good pointers regarding improving speed, proper question selection, accuracy were discussed. The seminar gave me that edge that I was lacking and helped me perform better on the final day.

I was usually scoring around 150-155 marks in my mock-tests for MBA-CET. To get into JBIMS, I knew, I had to increase my score by at least 10 marks. Then I got to know about this workshop being conducted by CPLC.

A one day workshop was exactly what I was looking for. The shortcuts which were discussed were amazing which helped me save at least 10-15 minutes overall. In CET every second counts, so this tremendously helped me to increase my score. Another important section in CET is verbal reasoning and I had major problems in this area. After attending the workshop I could get 90 percent of these questions correct. I implemented these methods in my subsequent mocks as well as in the final CET, due to which I could score a 99.94 percentile in the final CET.

EXPERIENCE AT THE HT WORKSHOP:
Starting on a personal note, I had started my preparation for MBA-CET pretty late. In fact, my mentor had to coax me into starting my preparation for CET. I was looking at CET with the sole aim of getting into a reputed institute like Jamanlal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. My focus had been far greater on the other exams like CAT and XAT. I must say that the "CPLC-14 days to CET workshop" with Hindustan Times came at the right time. The CET needs a very different approach from the other exams. The workshop was able to rightly highlight this difference and to explain the various methods to deal with it. The focus on the key scoring areas in the exam and the tricks to solve the more difficult ones were clearly explained in the workshop. The workshop helped me in channelizing my preparation in the right manner with the right attitude towards cracking the CET. Moreover, the "Live simulation of CET" demonstrated by a student was another innovation. I feel the experience must have inspired many students like me to do well.

Hard work is done by many, but channelizing your efforts in the right direction and at the right pace is done by a few(I call it smart work). The HT initiative of "CPLC-14 days to CET workshop" helped me in achieving exactly the same. I had prepared for other entrance exams like CAT and XAT which helped me in building my basic content, but I needed to understand how MBA-CET was different from these exams. The timely conduct of the CET workshop helped me remove many cobwebs and misconceptions about the nature of and the approach to the CET exam. Valuable guidance from Parag sir, Manish sir and Sujit sir(the CPLC stalwarts) helped me in building my approach towards paper-solving and its subtle tricks. Thanks to their guidance, I decided to concentrate on my strengths and build upon my weaknesses by attempting a series of Mock tests. Intensive paper solving helped me build up speed and smart tricks in some frequently asked question types, which was of utmost help in my final CET. My belief is that correct approach and right attitude are the keys to crack any competitive exam, and hence I would like to thank the entire CPLC team for helping me in these aspects through their guidance in "CPLC-14 days to CET workshop".
